JAG had to make an appearance at Izzabella’s wedding. So here we go, a few pictures from the wedding.

One time I was chatting at the club about my trip to see JAG and someone said: “So it is ok to have JAG as a friend in RL but not OK on SL?!” to which I simply replied to mind their own business as they have no idea of what is going on between JAG & I.  Not everybody knew that JAG and I were actually dating in Real Life and Second Life sometimes made our lives a bit more complicated. Only a very few selected people knew about us because they were friends in Real Life too or the people that would have grown close friends to us over time in Second Life and it was quite upsetting that people would just judge me because it was none of their business to know about us.  It was another RL story that one day I would cover on my RL personal blog maybe, maybe then people would understand.

I did unban him when I came back from the States and we became “friends” again on SL.

Since JAG had joined SL, I had lost count of the time he said he would quit and never go back on SL… and this day was no different. For whatever reason, something pissed him off and he decided once again he would not go back on SL anymore!  Pffft… Sure sure JAG, whatever you say!

SL is a world full of dramas and chaos so for that reason I better not name anyone.

The next day JAG had something to tell me and when JAG has something to tell me and when he sounds way too serious, it is not usually good news.

“It’s been killing me not to tell you I swear, so I am telling you now. I decided not to go on SL anymore because of what the so-called friend said. I thought she was just a good friend with whom I enjoy having fun with on Second Life but obviously she was just another one who expected more from me and that pisses me off because I am always honest with people when I first met them as I tell everybody that I don’t want to partner with anyone. I am not on Second Life for a relationship, I am here just for fun. But I wanted to partner with you and I had bought everything from the tux to the rings and the AO… everything to do a proper proposal.”

Commitment with Jag has always been an issue so I was quite surprised by this revelation and I was not expecting it at all even though I was hoping it would happened eventually. So it was more like a dream come true even if it was just on Second Life but a dream shattered by a so-called friend…

I had suspected quite a while back that the so-called friend had a bit of a crush for JAG. In fact I may even have mentioned it to him but he never sees it my way: because I am the girlfriend every women are the enemy so my voice does not count in. It was not something new and I just got used to women throwing themselves at JAG, not that I liked it but what else was I supposed to do? What bothered me though was the fact the so-called friend knew how I felt for JAG in real Life and she knew we were actually dating and in a long distance relationship. We might be in a virtual world at times but people tend to often forget or doing it on purpose to forget there are real people behind our avatars.

Then it hits me: what has it got to do with me anyway?  Why quit SL just because of one lame so-called friend and not partner with me?

But with JAG, it is best not to try to understand his way of thinking and actions… or you will get some severe headaches…until yesterday…

He was out in RL and asking me to come and pick him up as he was too drunk to drive back home (I am here sitting at the computer in Australia and he is out there in the United States of America… pffft). Then, out of the blue, he popped the question:

“Will you marry me on Second Life? I will only come back to SL if you will marry me.”

And he then added: “just a Second Life marriage so don’t kid yourself”.  He can be such a funny man sometimes… Not!

JAG always surprises me and I was not expecting this comeback! But since I knew how drunk he was I did not make much of it until I received the email today:

Dear Prisqua Newall, You have received a Second Life partner proposal from JAG Tremor.

Did not have think twice about this one….

Depending on how you play the game and some people do not like to call Second Life a game, but this is a world that can be emotionally draining. Some people sees SL as just a bunch of pixels and could not care less about anyone or anything, others have a real second life on there which can affect their real life.
JAG sees SL as just a game and a bunch of pixels. I am attached to my avatar and the other avatars sharing my Second Life.
JAG is in the USA and I am in Australia. Though we talk on the phone everyday nearly 24/7, it was quite interesting to be together on Second Life.
But our biggest disagreement happened on Second Life and he decided to move out the house leaving me hurt. We could not resolve the issue and I decided that I did not want him in my Second Life at all so banned him from the club and the house to which most people could not understand and hated me for it too.
Real life is real life and Second Life is Second Life so try to keep the two separated sometimes is complicated. And people were judging my and could not understand why i would do that but they had no idea what was really going on between JAG and I.
Anyway, Saki and I were offered a better deal for land and decided to settle for a new home behind the club. So I put my land on Costa Rica for sale L$27,000.
On Costa Rica, tiers are due and payable on the first. If you are late, you get charged a late payment fee of L$1000!!! And it is all automatic, you cant avoid it! Tiers are also non-refundable and i had just paid my tier. I put a higher price because first I wanted to get my money back – bought the land for L24,000 and a bit of the tier I already paid. There is no freebie on Costa Rica. and i thought putting it higher was better just in case I had to negotiate the price. Within 48hrs it was sold and without having to negotiate anything.
The weird part was JAG and I finally talked on Second Life on that now empty lot just a few hours before it was sold. My first land, my first home, my first friends…

I was on Skype talking to JAG:

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“Nothing much…” I replied.

“You are on Second Life again? That’s it!! I am joining!!!” he said.

My RL love interest had decided to join Second Life.  At first I thought he was joking because he had said so many times that he would never ever joined Second Life and many had tried to get him on SL but he just was not into it at all. Until today….

So I took him shopping for a skin, shape and some clothes and the JAG Tremor was born

He moved in to the house too of course and became like my shadow…. but loved it
