Virtual friendships

22 November 2008 196 views No Comment

Before I bought the club, there was another reason that kept me coming back to SL: friends.  I had just moved in on Costa Rica when I heard somebody “knocking” on the door and welcomed my first neighbor Alex. Within a few days I got to meet all my immediate neighbors, Pasha, Gigimarie & Charisse.  That is basically how i discovered clubbing, shopping, chatting, sharing… and most of all having fun on Second Life.

Pasha organized a girls’ night out and omg, I had not laughed like that in so long.  When I told my good friend Jeni, she said “Well this is not the kind of girls’ night out I had in mind for you but if you had fun that’s the main thing.” lol

Having friends is an excellent way of discovering SL.  After vising my virtual friends’ homes I was embarrassed that I had not even bothered to completely furnished my house. Pasha was a shop alcoholic so she would take us to the finest shops in SL.  Gigimarie introduced me to her SL boyfriend… Pasha & Charisse were looking for a boyfriend so that is how i learned the other kind of relationship you can have on Second Life.

Sex & marriage is a big thing on Second Life, so do lies, back-stabbing and cheating… lol

Yes, SL is one world of its kind…
